Let's keep on with resident birds while I am still learning to use my camera....
One of the most abundant bird in Dovela's costal forest is the Sombre Greenbul (Andropadus importunus) 20 cm. It is a less colorful but incredible hard singer which can be heard all day long…. We usually find in pairs or small groups foraging for insects, fruit and small snails. Males and females have no colour distinction.
The elusive but shiny Collared Sunbird (Hedydipna collaris). This tiny bird (10 cm) is always moving around the lodge looking for insects and nectar. Females are slightly duller with yellow underparts.
